With the Coins upgrade, we've made significant changes to streamline and improve the Zora experience.

Here's everything you need to know about what's new, what's changing, and what's coming soon.

With Custom Pairs, you now choose what asset your coin is paired against when creating on Zora. Custom Pairs let you pick a different asset instead, like ETH, USDC, a Robinhood stock token, or a Solana token.

• No fee to create

• 1% trading fee on swaps, with 0.70% going directly to you as the creator, paid instantly to your Zora wallet

• Coins paired against any asset: When creating a coin, you can now choose a custom asset to pair against instead of your creator coin.

• Robinhood Chain support: Robinhood Chain is now supported on Zora. Create smart wallets, interact with assets, and deploy coins with no gas fees.

• New deposit options: Deposit from Robinhood Chain or native Solana directly from the deposit menu.

• Token pages: Every token on Base, Robinhood Chain, and Solana now has its own page with a trade panel, chart, activity, and holders. Your Tokens tab links to these and shows coins you've created, even at zero balance.

• Filter Explore by paired asset: On Explore, you can now filter coins by what they're paired with — with Trending, Top, and New tabs for each.

• Sell Solana coins with no SOL: You can sell Solana coins even with an empty SOL balance — Zora covers the fees.

• Broader gas sponsorship: Gas is now sponsored for swaps on any token across Base, Robinhood Chain, and Solana.

• Wallet Tokens tab: Balances now pull from live market data, include tokens you've swapped via Relay, and native assets like ETH are grouped in a collapsible section.

• Zora Agent trading: Trading with the Zora Agent is now available for all users. Ask the agent to buy or sell coins directly in chat, including a one-tap preset to buy $1 of today's top trending coin.

• Tags on Explore: Tags are now live on Explore for all users — filter and browse by tag across Trending, Top, and New tabs.

• Onboarding suggested follows: New users on mobile now see a suggested follows screen during onboarding.

• Top holder comments expanded: The pinned top holder comment on a coin now surfaces off-chain comments too, not just on-chain ones.

• Explore redesign: Mobile Explore got a visual refresh with compact search and underline tab navigation.

• Zora Agent on web: The Zora Agent now has a permanent entry point in the web footer.

• Agent harness indicators: Agent profile icons now show a harness indicator on Explore and profile pages to identify AI agents.

• CLI x402 payments: Agents can now pay for x402 services and claim vested creator coins directly via the CLI.

• Market cap on web Explore: Primary market cap value and % change are now shown on web Explore (matching mobile).

• Locked creator coin % display: Creator coin pages now show the actual locked %, not a rounded vesting figure.

• Holdings default tab: Holdings is now the default wallet tab on web and mobile.

• Sparkline charts in feed: Feed posts now show a sparkline chart with one week of price history.

• AI companion agent for Zora Messages: An AI companion agent is now available inside Zora DMs on web.

• 'Top Creators' updated: The Top Creators list now ranks by most valuable creators, not just highest volume.

• Trend coin creation posts removed from feed: Creating a trend coin no longer clutters the home feed.

• Cancel individual autosells: Cancel specific autosell orders without affecting your other scheduled sells.

• Pay gas with USDC and ZORA: Use USDC or ZORA tokens to pay for gas on swaps, sends, posts, and trades across web and mobile.

• Creator coin dedicated page : Creator coins now open as a full page on web with rich link previews including market cap and volume.

• PnL on Zora: See your overall profit and loss under Activity in your wallet view, and on individual Coin pages, and generate share visual cards showing your profit and loss performance.

• Apple Pay on-ramp : Deposit USDC with Apple Pay on mobile — US only, 0% fees.

• Faster quick buy on we: Quick buys now show instant visual feedback with animations and immediate balance updates.

• External links on posts: Add links from supported platforms when creating a post, with rich previews displayed to viewers.

• Zora CLI: Trade coins and build agents from the command line — documentation at cli.zora.com.

• Trend page grid view: Posts on trend pages display in a clean grid layout on web and mobile.

• No Creator Coin required to post: Any user can now post to a Trend or create a Trend without needing a Creator Coin to be enabled.

• Initial buys for tags: Make an initial buy when creating or posting to a trend on web and mobile.

• Subscribe to tags: Subscribe to trend coins on the web and mobile to receive updates when your favourite tags move.

• Tags: A new way to discover and trade cultural moments on Zora. Tag coins let creators pair their posts with a shared topic, and anyone can trade the trend. Find and filter tags on the Explore page across the New, Top, and Trending tabs.

• Filter holdings: Filter your coin holdings in the wallet view on web and mobile.

• Activity tab: The Rewards tab has been replaced with an Activity tab for better wallet tracking on web and mobile.

• Coinbase onramp on web: Deposit funds into your wallet using Coinbase's onramp on the web.

• Redesigned holdings tab: The holdings tab on web and mobile has a refreshed layout.

• ETH in Coinbase onramp: ETH is now available as a deposit option when using the Coinbase onramp.

• Transparent gas costs: Gas costs are now displayed in USD in both the swap and create UI, along with color-coded warnings to indicate normal, high, or extremely high gas prices.

• Compact activity on profiles: The activity tab on profiles has a new compact layout.

• Web DMs: DMs are now live on web for all users, alongside a refreshed navigation layout.

• Post archived livestreams: You can now post your archived livestream recordings as content on your profile.

• Creator earnings chart: Lifetime creator earnings charts are now available in the wallet rewards tab on web and mobile.

• Updated deposit flow: The mobile deposit flow has been simplified.

• Updated coin detail pages: Coin detail pages on mobile now feature an updated header layout with the thumbnail in the header, unified ticker and display name, and a copy address button.

• SOL on Zora: You can now deposit SOL from Solana to your Zora wallet, see your SOL balance, use SOL to buy coins, and send SOL back to Solana.

• Sell into your preferred currency: You can now sell coins into $ZORA, USDC, SOL, or ETH.

• DM token gate: You can now set a token gate on your DMs, requiring holders of a minimum amount to message you.

• DMs: Direct messages are now live on mobile. Send messages to other users, with trade activity appearing in your conversations when you swap a coin from a DM.

• Livestream archives: Livestream recordings are now automatically archived and available to watch on web and mobile after the stream ends.

• In-app livestreaming: You can now go live directly from the Zora app.

• Accurate token pricing: Token prices in your wallet now reflect real-time pricing from on-chain liquidity data.

• About this Account: A new "About this Account" section is available on profiles.

• Initial buy in the create flow: The option to make an initial buy when creating a coin is back in the create flow on web and mobile.

• Explore redesign: The Explore page has been redesigned with a new layout.

• Trade form in USD: You can now see USD amounts when buying and selling coins on web and mobile, including in the deposit and send views.

• Livestreams on web: Livestreams now have an updated layout on web.

• @mentions: You can now @mention other users in comments.

• Pinned posts: Creators can now pin posts to the top of their profile on web and mobile.

• Blocking: You can now block accounts. Blocked users cannot see your profile, comment on your posts, follow you, or appear in your feed or notifications.

• Charts on posts: Market cap charts are now available directly on posts in the mobile app.

• Swap preview improvements: The swap preview now shows an "Estimated amount" instead of the minimum received. On web, hover to see the minimum; on mobile, tap to toggle between the two.

• Holders and holdings in profile header: Your profile header now shows your holders and holdings counts.

• Mobile create flow improvements: The mobile create flow now supports fullscreen video preview with audio, tap-to-add text, saving creations to your camera roll, canvas features for carousel items, reordering carousel items, and new fonts and text styles including highlighted, glowing, and outlined options.

• Zora Stars on Explore: A new "Zora Stars" category has been added to the Explore page.

• Masonry grid on Web: The Masonry grid layout has been added to both profile pages and explore pages on the web.

• 2x video speed: You can now play videos at 2x speed by long-pressing the edge of the screen on mobile.

• Vidz: Added a new video-only dedicated feed to the Zora app.

• Subscribe to creator: New subscription feature allows you to follow creators and receive push notifications when they post new content.

• Unverified creator labels: Creators without linked social accounts now display an "unverified" label, which can be removed by linking a social account.

• Creator coin holdings on profiles: User profiles now display their Creator Coin holdings.

• Swap with comment: Brought back the ability to swap and comment at the same time.

• Creator coins in feed: Creator coin trades appear directly in your main feed.

• Carousel: Added a new Carousel feature to posts, enabling up to 12 images in one post.

• Search improvements: The Search tool received better-ranked results and prioritizes exact matches first.

• Enhanced charts: Improved chart sizing, spacing, haptic feedback for trades, and better scrubbing functionality.

• Charts for creator coins: Market cap charts are now available for Creator Coins.

• Top creators category: New "Top Creators" category added to the Explore page

• Creator Coins: Every profile on Zora is now a coin. More posts mean more opportunity. Enjoy more ways to earn.

• Coinbase deposits: Introduced a faster deposit method to the Zora app for depositing funds using Coinbase’s Onramp

• NSFW tag: Added an NSFW tag that blurs posts containing Not Safe For Work content

• Simpler Create flow: Introduced a simpler Create flow on the Web and Zora app, allowing you to create all on one page

• Top holder: The Top Holder of a coin (other than the creator, or the Uniswap pool) now gets a green Crown beside their username on the holders tab, and gets their comments pinned to the top

• New Explore categories: Introduced the “Featured” and “Video” categories on the Explore page

• Custom thumbnails for video posts: You can now select a custom thumbnail for video posts either from a specific frame in your video or an image from your library

• Masonry layout returns: The masonry layout on profiles has been reintroduced

• Follow profiles from feed: Profiles you don’t follow now have a “+” button beside their profile picture for easy following directly from the feed

• AI creator tool: Added an AI-powered creator tool to generate images directly on Zora

• Charts: Market cap charts are accessible directly from the coin page on the Web

• New trade colours: Introduced new Green and Pink colours for Buying and Selling

• Posts paired with $ZORA: New posts are now paired with $ZORA instead of ETH

• Buy with any coin: Added ability to pay with any coin created on Zora, as well as $ZORA and USDC

• Wallet view improvements: The wallet view now shows an estimated value of all your holdings

• “New” tag for coins: New coins created within the last 24 hours and have no trades now show a “New” tag

• New Explore tab view: The Explore tab now features a three-column layout, making content browsing coins easier

• $22 starting market cap: New coins will have a starting market cap of $22.

• Dark mode fixes: All pages now respect dark mode

• Coins SDK released: Officially launched Coins SDK for developers, allowing features like creating coins, trading coins, updating and managing coin metadata, and more

• Coin Address searching: Added Coin Address searching to the search bar to easily find Coins

• Real-time trades on home feed: Real-time trades in the navbar for quick reference of recent trading activity

• Creator Earnings update: The Creator Earnings now include Trade Earnings with a more detailed breakdown modal

• Dark mode: Dark mode was released across the platform

• Balance indicator: Added a new balance indicator on web and mobile.

• Performance improvements: Made navigation between Home and Explore tabs faster

• Wallet view: Shipped a new wallet view to show held coin balances

• Token page improvements: Token pages now load faster and reliably

• Comment after purchase: You can now comment immediately after purchasing without having to refresh the page

• Friends Bought tab: Added a "Friends Bought" tab on both web and mobile platforms, showing you what Coins your friends have traded

• Grid view for Explore: Shipped a grid view for the Explore page on the Web

• Double Tap to Buy: Re-implemented double tap to buy on the Mobile app

• You cannot mint, edit or comment on NFTs (ERC721 and ERC1155)

• Airdrop feature is no longer available

• Cointags have been discontinued

• Custom mint start times are no longer supported when creating

• Canvas tool removed from Zora.co (still available in the Zora app)

• PDF, audio/MP3, and 3D file uploads are no longer supported (MP4 recommended for audio)
