Creator Coins are profile-level coins on Zora, meaning that each account has its own coin. As creators post and fans engage, the demand for these coins increases. It's a simple and native way to support creators without middlemen, sponsors, or subscriptions.

Every Zora account has its own Creator Coin — your username becomes your ticker ($username), and every post you make is automatically paired to it. New users get one created automatically; existing users activate theirs the next time they post.

Each Creator Coin has a fixed supply of 1 billion coins, split evenly:

• 50% to the open market — instantly available to buy and sell

• 50% to the creator — vested linearly over 5 years

This keeps enough liquidity for active trading while aligning creators with the long-term growth of their profile. You earn 1% of every trade in $ZORA across your Creator Coin and all your posts, and supporters who buy in early share in the upside as your profile grows.

IMPORTANT:Once you have enabled Creator Coins on your profile, it CANNOT be disabled or turned off. The update is permanent.

No, each Zora account can only have one Creator Coin tied to their profile.

Creator Coins operate on the Base Network, the same as regular Zora posts.

• Post-level coins: Each post becomes a tradeable coin

• Creator Coins: Your entire profile becomes a tradeable coin that all your posts support

No, once your account is updated to include the Zora Creator Coin, you cannot substitute it with an existing coin. All future posts will automatically be linked to your Zora Creator Coin.
