What is an Unverified Profile?
To make Zora the most trusted place to launch and trade Creator Coins, we’ve introduced clearer account details to help you make more informed decisions about who you’re interacting with.
If a profile launches a Creator Coin but hasn’t linked any external social accounts (like X, TikTok, or Farcaster), it will be labelled as UNVERIFIED. This doesn’t necessarily mean the account is malicious, but it does indicate that the user hasn’t taken public steps to confirm their identity.
Linking socials builds trust and helps others know it’s you. It also:
Adds context and trust by displaying linked social accounts
Helps users make informed decisions before buying or trading
Reduces impersonation and increases transparency across the platform
How do I verify my profile?
While Zora does not offer a formal “verified” badge, you can avoid the unverified label by linking your social media accounts:
Go to your Profile.
Tap Edit Profile.
Link at least one supported platform (currently X, TikTok, or Farcaster).
**Support for Instagram is coming soon.
Once linked, that platform’s icon will appear on your profile, clickable and visible to others.
