A breakdown of our fee structure

Are there minting fees?

  • Yes, Zora charges a flat fee to collectors who mint an NFT created using Zora’s Creator Toolkit. The fee will be clearly displayed to collectors before the confirmation of the mint.

    The minting fee is 0.000777 ETH per NFT minted.

    Parts of this fee may be split with Creators, Developers, and other parties in the minting process via our Protocol Rewards, which you can learn about here.

Are there secondary purchase fees?

  • Yes, Zora will charge a fee (the “Collect Fee”) to collectors who use the Collect or Offers features and complete a secondary purchase of an NFT. The Collect Fee will be clearly displayed to collectors before confirmation of the purchase.

    The Collect Fee for each purchased NFT is 0.000777 ETH + 3% of the listed purchase price.

Are there listing fees?

  • There are NO fees Zora collects when listing and selling your NFTs on zora.co. You are required to have ETH in your connected wallet to cover gas fees for minting, selling or bidding. What are gas fees?

Are there creation fees?

  • No, Zora does NOT charge any fees for creating your collection when using Zora. However, you are responsible for the Gas Fees required to create your collection(s) using the Creator Toolkit. What are gas fees?

How have our fees changed?

  • Prior to the 3rd of August 2023, our minting fee did NOT include the Protocol Rewards split.

What if I created a collection using the Creator Toolkit prior to August 3rd, 2023?

  • By default, such collections will not include Protocol Rewards. However, you will have the opportunity to update your contracts to incorporate Protocol Rewards. Instructions to upgrade your contact can be found here.
