What are $ZORA Pairs?

Starting the 30th of APRIL, 2025, every new coin created on Zora will be paired with $ZORA instead of ETH. This significant change strengthens the Zora ecosystem by fostering stronger connections among creators, collectors, and the platform itself.

What’s changing?

  • Previously: When you created a coin on Zora, it was automatically paired with ETH on Uniswap (ETH/$COIN pool).

  • Now: New coins will be paired with $ZORA instead (ZORA/$COIN pool).

    **IMPORTANT: All existing coins will remain unchanged.

What does this mean?

  • You can now buy any coin using $ZORA, USDC, ETH, or other coins created on Zora.

  • Where creators earned rewards in ETH, you will now earn $ZORA

  • $ZORA becomes the central hub for all coins on the platform, providing everyone with access to improved liquidity.

  • The selling experience remains the same; you’ll still receive ETH just as before.
