**IMPORTANT**: We monitor for score and leaderboard manipulation. Participants found violating the rules may be disqualified. See the full Official Rules for details.

To be eligible, users must trade Zora creator coins or posts during the weekly window.

• Trade directly in the Zora app (web or mobile) or with the external wallet linked to your Zora account

• Trade creator coins paired with $ZORA

• Trade content coins paired with creator coins or $ZORA

• Only trades on Zora-originated pools will count

Personal and team wallets of current Zora employees are excluded from the leaderboard. PNL from users self-trading their own coins are also excluded from scoring to ensure fairness.

Your rank is determined by your PNL during contest week. Only coins bought during contest week will count towards your PNL on the trader leaderboard. Selling positions from outside the contest week will not count.

Weekly $PNL Per Coin = (Average Exit Price - Average Entry Price) x Eligible Quantity

Average Exit Price = $USD amount sold within contest week / Quantity sold within contest week

Average Entry Price = $USD amount bought within contest week / Quantity bought within contest week

Eligible Quantity = Min(Quantity of coins sold within week, Quantity of coins bought within week)

Rewards can only be claimed on the web app (zora.co) at the moment. Instructions are as follows:

1. Log in to your Zora account on zora.co

2. Go to your wallet

3. Go to the “Rewards” tab

4. Click “Claim”

5. Submit and verify tax information through Persona. Learn more

   • US tax residents: Submit a W-9 form

   • Non-US tax residents: Submit a W-8 BEN form

6. Upon successful verification, click “Claim” to receive your rewards in your Zora smart wallet 

Yes, recipients must claim within 14 days after being notified. Unclaimed rewards will be reallocated towards future rewards at Zora's discretion.

To claim rewards, you will need to provide tax information based on your location and tax status. This process is secured by Persona.

    • Your Name

    • Your Date of Birth

    • Your Address

    • Your Taxpayer Identification Number (SSN)

For non-US tax residents:

• Non-US tax residents will need to submit a W-8 BEN

  • This will require you to provide:

    • Your Name

    • Your Date of Birth

    • Your Country of Citizenship

    • Your Address

    • Your Foreign Tax Identifying Number

Each week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC

The leaderboard runs on a weekly cycle. A live countdown is displayed at the top of the leaderboard page.

The leaderboard is updated frequently throughout the day. See “Last updated” placed in the most-right column. 

Each week, eligible recipients share a pool of $ZORA tokens. 

• The total rewards pool is displayed in USD

• The final rewards pool in $ZORA is calculated using the ZORA/USD price as published at 23:59 UTC on the final day of the applicable period.

• Your final $ZORA rewards are calculated using the ZORA/USD price as published at 23:59 UTC on the final day of the applicable period

Eligible recipients will be notified through:

1. Email linked to your Zora account

2. In-app notifications

3. Push notifications on iOS or Android

Unclaimed rewards are reallocated towards future rewards. If you are eligible, be sure to claim within the 14-day window. Learn more.

No, KYC is not required to claim your rewards.

However, you will need to provide the necessary tax information as outlined in the previous section.

Zora Labs Inc. is a US-based company, and is legally required to collect tax information from recipients who receive US$600 or more in equivalent $ZORA tokens (calculated based on $ZORA/USD rates at the end of each competition week on Sunday 23:59 UTC). We are unfortunately not able to distribute Rewards to tax residents of OFAC sanctioned countries.

Zora reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the competition, or to withhold or revoke any prize, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that awarding such prize would be unlawful under applicable sanctions, trade restrictions, or other legal requirements.

Participation in this program may have tax implications depending on your jurisdiction. The receipt, holding, or sale of tokens could be considered taxable events under applicable laws. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with your local tax regulations. For US tax residents who receive US$600 or more in Rewards, we will issue you a 1099 form for your 2025 tax filings.
